Solkka Studio is an artist led gallery run by husband and wife team Sanna Annukka and Jasper Goodall.

They met at art school in 2003, later sharing the same creative agency – Big Active – where they worked individually on commercial projects.

After stepping away from the world of commercial art and design, they developed their respective artist practices in tandem, consulting and supporting one another. Solkka is a formal manifestation of a 20 year creative partnership, and is a space for collaboration and experimenting with new ways of working.

Between them they have years worth of experience of selling and shipping artworks to an international audience. Since the mid 2000’s Sanna had her own online store selling print and design products. Over the last few years as her work becomes further embedded in the practice of painting, it began to make sense to move to a more gallery oriented model, and so Solkka was conceived.
