Jasper Goodall is an artist/photographer based in East Sussex, UK.

His practice, whilst photographically based, is rooted in the imaginary; using the natural environment as source material, artworks are created either through the use of artificial light, physical intervention or reconstruction of elements to make an image. This alteration transforms real spaces into ‘make believe’ places.

His output, although eclectic, is nevertheless held together by an abiding interest in the natural landscape as a subject. Each work is in some form a construct: whether physical, digital, or altered by lighting, – nature is sampled and re-worked to arrive at a final artwork.
